Agility Sites In and Near the SF Bay Area

Need to know how to get to an agility site in or near the San Francisco Bay Area? (Loosely defined as any site that the Bay Team Webmaster is willing to drive to.) How long it takes? What the accommodations are like?

These are parks or other public places that are big enough for clubs to rent and set up for an agility trial or seminar. These are not permanent agility locations (the few of those that exist are in instructors' yards and are not open to the public).

Sonoma Fairgrounds (Santa Rosa)
El Dorado County Fairgrounds (Placerville)
Sonoma-Marin Fairgrounds (Petaluma)
Starfleet Agility (Elk Grove)
Cal State Hayward: Meiklejohn Hall lawn or Soccer Practice Field (Hayward) Dixon May Fairgrounds (Dixon, near Davis)
Gellert Park (Daly City)
Contra Costa County Fairgrounds (Antioch)
Woodside Mounted Patrol Grounds (Woodside)
Alameda County Fairgrounds (Pleasanton)
Stanford University (Palo Alto)
Sonora Fairgrounds (Sonora)

Jamestown School (Jamestown)
Lone Oak Equestrian Center (San Martin, near Gilroy)
San Jose Giants Municipal Stadium (San Jose)
Bolado Park (Tres Pinos, near Hollister)
Madera Fairgrounds (Madera, near Fresno)

Note: All distances and driving times are from the intersection of highway 17 (interstate 880) and interstate 85 near Los Gatos. This Webmaster generally obeys traffic laws and speed limits. Driving times are generally under the best possible driving conditions at that time of day--no accidents, construction, or random unexplained backups at toll plazas and such.
