No board experience is necessary. Main requirements are:

- Must play well with others (rest of the board) and not run with scissors--ok, scratch the scissors part.

Kathy Bennett, candidate for Secretary
"It is with pleasure that I accept a nomination for Secretary of Bay Team. I, along with my husband, David, jumped into agility about five years ago under Sandy Rogers' tutelage at Ace Dog Sports. As our skills and canine family grew, agility has enriched us with the close companionship of wonderful dogs, and the outdoor life that this entails. It seems fitting that after five years of enjoying this very special sport, and several of those years as a BayTeam member, I have an opportunity to assist in Bay Team's mission.
Although experience specific to BayTeam primarily involves trying to get entries in on time, and dogs on the line, I am interested in the promotion of dog agility to the public as a fun and accessible sport. Organizational experience that may be relevant includes a four year term as Director at Large for the Professional Services Management Association, an industry organization for managers of architectural and engineering firms. As a financial partner of an architectural firm for a number of years, and for the last five years a co-owner of a software dealership, my background focuses on the financial management area.
Thank you for your consideration, and, should I be chosen, look forward to joining the BayTeam team."
Terri Prince, candidate for Secretary
My name is Terri Prince and I have been competing in agility for 5 years now. I have a 10yr old one-eyed golden retriever named Buttercup PII, AX, AJ, C-ATCH, a 5yr old golden retriever named Maverick and and a 10 month old border collie named Archie. Buttercup was my first dog and she hooked me on agility. It was so much fun to go out and train and play with her and see how excited she was to get to participate. Of course, she loves visiting the people as much, if not more than, she loves agility. Over the years I have volunteered to work as much as I can, but I just recently joined the club because I want to be more involved in club activities and learn about how a club works, etc. I am a project manager by profession, and I think that the skills and experience I've developed would be a great fit for the secretary position.
