BayTeam:Customizing BTWiki

Aside from converting article content from HTML to wiki, there is the issue of tweaking text and appearance of the whole wiki interface.

For admins:

List of customizable interface text (articles). To edit these values, edit in the Bay Team's MediaWiki namespace (that is, MediaWiki:nameofmessage.

To-do list

Edit, History, Discussion tabs: Users shouldn't have to log in to view a talk page or the page's history. I (Efinch) hate having to log in to click edit to see what the source code looks like. We need to display at least discussion & history tabs for nonlogged-in users. I don't know what we can do about "edit"--if we display it and it just says "you can't do that," then that sucks. But if it can display the wiki source & just prevent you from editing it, that would be cool. Don't know whether it's possible.

Email: Need a way to send email for all users, logged in or not, without giving away email addresses. Mike's project...
