The Bay Team has several email mailing lists. Lists are for club members only unless otherwise specified.

[edit] Premium announcement list

Premium-announcement: For any non-Bay Teamers who want to get announcements about the availability of premiums for agility events, both ours and others, that are relevant to Bay Area agility Californians. Anyone can post announcements, but (a) they must be for events that agree with the Bay Team's policy about dogs (that means not AKC) and (b) they are approved before being posted to the list. You can subscribe or unsubscribe on this page (if you have trouble, ask listadmin). (Bay Teamers get the info through our regular mailing list.)

All: All Club members are subscribed. For general information email about the club and agility and related dog topics. See Bay Team email policy for more information. Nonmembers cannot post to this list.

Board: Only the current Board members are members. Non-Board-members can send to the list but each email has to be approved by the list administrator to be delivered.

Boardequip: Members of the board and key equipment people--those responsible for maintaining, storing, purchasing, and evaluating trailers or agility equipment. You can ask to be on this list if you think you belong there. Like for Board, you can send email if you're not on this list but each waits to be approved.

Cpecore: The "core" group of interested CPE persons within Bay Team. Mostly for discussions on club policies related to CPE, CPE rules and issues, opinions about upcoming Bay Team CPE trials. Club members can subscribe or unsubscribe.

Cpejuly: Trial committee for the July CPE trial. (Changes from last year's to next year's whenever we start assembling the next committee.)

Legislation: For announcements about issues related to pending dog-related legislation, such as spay-neuter bills. Announcements might be pro, con, or neutral. Some brief, civil discussion might be allowed. See also the Dog-related legislation update page.

Cpenationals: Anyone going to CPE nationals "this year" for trip planning, updates from CPE, etc-- or anyone who just wants to hear about people's plans for going to CPE nationals. Results are posted to ALL, so you don't need to be on this list for that reason. You have to ask to be on this list (although we'll try to remember to post at least one request asking everyone.)

Usdaanationals: Same idea for USDAA nationals. Every year we subscribe everyone in the club who's a member at the time that we recreate the list (probably July or so). You have to ask to be unsubscribed. For some reason no one wants off this list. It puzzles me.
