Are you interested in joining?
First: Read about The Bay Team.
Who should join?
Next: Can you answer "Yes" to the following statement?
- I love agility.
If so, you are the perfect candidate for membership in the Bay Team. You also would be a perfect candidate if any or all of the following apply to you:
- All my friends are members.
- All my dog's friends are members.
- I'd like to help ensure that agility for all dogs remains available in the Bay Area.
- I want to know what fun it is to help organize an event.
- I have ideas that I want to share on how to improve Bay Team events.
- I have an idea for what else the club can do for its membership or for the sport of agility.
- I would like to participate in agility demonstrations.
- I would enjoy attending the annual Holiday Party and Gift Exchange.
I don't want to join, I just want to get email announcements
Visit our Bay Team mailing lists page.
What are some club benefits?
- You get a Bay Team email alias that people can send to.
- You are automatically included in our club announcements email list and can optionally join other informative Bay Team mailing lists.
- You can edit pages here on the Bay Team wiki site and contribute to the general available knowledge!
- You, your dogs, and your titles and accomplishments are listed on our web site for everyone to admire; for example, see Bay Team members and dogs and Bay Team member achievements.
- If you are an agility instructor, you get a free listing on our Bay Teamers offering agility training page.
- You can borrow books, magazines, or videos from the Club's extensive Bay Team library of agility and training materials.
- You can participate in free practices held at some Club meetings.
- You can be on our agility trial committees to earn free entries into Bay Team trials; see trial committee compensation.
- You have priority on earning discounted or free entries into Bay Team events by working more than the average agility bear; see trial worker compensation.
- You are invited to our annual post-holiday bash party and awards potluck, where you could be in the running for Bay Teamer of the Year and other awards, and where everyone can get an attractive certificate listing their dog's accomplishments for the year.
- Linked In members can join The Bay Team group on that site.
What should you do next?
