Site specs
- Over-all site size: 500 acre Park, 50 acre sports complex
- Field size: Main softball field (4 softball fields together) has room for 4 (5?) full agility rings. Three additional soccer fields; the soccer field across from main field has room for 3 full agility rings (and crating). Not sure about others.
- Field description: Grass. Very limited to no shade. Bring your own.
- Fencing: Some fencing, but private site way back from any roads or public access
- Restrooms: Restrooms next to largest field (across driveway from 2nd field). (If your club is renting any other field, consider renting portapotties as we do.)
- Lights: No.
- Parking: Paved parking between large & 2nd field, also along north side of big field. (Spaces: about ____?) Some allowed alongside fields.
- Tents: Allowed?
- RVs: In parking lot, some allowed next to field (?).
- Access for loading/unloading: No drive-on access except for trailers.
- Trailers OK on field?: Park on field OK.
- Power: For club use only (None for RVers; generators are necessary. There is a power outlet at the restrooms but it is too low an amperage for RV'ers to plug into (and requires a call to the off-site maintenance people to reset the breaker). There is one outlet at the snack shack but it too is low amperage and is monopolized by the event computers and sound system.)
- Water for drinking & dog hosing: Yes.
- Dog exercise area: Usually plenty of space somewhere.
- Crating: Plenty of space
- Extra space: Yes.
- Climate: Usually morning fog from coast. Can get hot in afternoon during summer.
- Site extras: This 50-acre youth facility is located within a 500-acre nature preserve.

Directions
This site is about 50 minutes south of San Jose.
Take highway 101 to San Miguel Canyon Rd. exit in Prunedale. Proceed about one mile west on San Miguel Canyon Rd. Turn left on Castroville Blvd. Proceed about 0.8 miles to the sign for Manzanita Park on the left.
