Important: Note that this is not a complete list of what your first aid kit should contain. This is just a list of items that our membership thought were useful to have in their first aid kits.

Note that perishable items such as medications are susceptible to overheating and should not be stored where it may get over 70 degrees F.

  • Benadryl tablets
  • Pepcid AC
  • Hydrogen peroxide (check the expiration date)
  • Advil (CLEARLY MARKED "FOR HUMAN USE ONLY")
  • Ascription
  • Sting-eze
  • Pepto Bismol
  • Quickstop

  • eye wash
  • sterile saline, chlorhexidine/ betadyne scrub
  • neosporin/polymixin/bacitracin ointment for superficial wounds
  • hydrocortisone cream
  • Antiseptic Wipes

  • Alcohol
  • WOUND WASH

  • bandaging supplies-gauze (lots), xeroform, tape, kling, telfa, bandaids, vetwrap
  • cold pack
  • ace wraps 4" and 6"

  • scissors

  • Exam gloves
  • Oral syringes (3, 6, and 20ml)
