Site specs

  • Over-all site size: Large but mostly softball fields.
  • Field size: Big enough for 4 rings and canopies
  • Field description: Grassy soccer fields. No shade.
  • Fencing: Whole soccer-field area has fence with two gates by parking lot. WARNING: the back fence along the levy has a 12" gap along the bottom for the entire length and is thus not secure. Furthermore, if your dog goes under, it would be nearly impossible for most of us to follow.
  • Restrooms: Restrooms a walk away at clubhouse; 3 permanent/sewer-connected porta-potties at field. Can bring in more or they can arrange. (See fees.)
  • Lights: None.
  • Parking: Convenient to the field
  • Tents: not allowed
  • RVs: "temporarily" allowed. No hookups or facilities or outdoor cooking; however, there are nice trees. Must reserve space through club (see Fees).
  • Access for loading/unloading: Good for vendors, trailers. General attendees cannot drive onto field.
  • Trailers OK on field?: OK on field
  • Power: One hookup available on one side of field. Can run extension cord.
  • Water for drinking & dog hosing: One? Maybe two? potable spigots at side of field.
  • Dog exercise area: Whatever's left after rings and canopies; good for 3-rings, not so much for 4-rings.
  • Crating: Ample space for canopies even for major 4-ring trial.

  • Climate: Very windy afternoons. Can be hot.

Directions

From 101 going north or south

Take the Alviso/Milpitas exit to get onto hwy 237 going east. Proceed east a couple miles until the Caribbean Drive exit. Go north on Caribbean, over the freeway overpass. Twin Creeks is a couple stoplights along, on the right. The soccer fields are on the left as you enter the parking lot.

Alternative coming up 101 from the south

Take the Lawrence Expwy exit, go east. Lawrence turns into Caribbean. The field is on the right side after crossing 237.

From 880 in the east bay

Take the Alviso/Mountain View exit to get onto hwy 237 going west. Proceed west about 4 miles until the Caribbean Drive exit. Head north on Caribbean as above.

RVs

  • Fees--see table above, payable to Bay Team with your RV reservation ahead of time.
  • Reservations: See premium or see specific event page for online registration (not always available).
  • RV generator flue requirements: Some trials require tight parking of RVs. If premium specifies restrictions to upward venting generator flues, see generator rooftop vent for an example.

Food

The show site operates a full food service concession at the club house for breakfast, lunch, and dinner. Off-site food not allowed. Bay Team contracts with Twin Creeks for worker lunches (and usually lunch for purchase). You're on your own for breakfast.
