June UKI/ICE Now OPEN
ICE has undergone a pair of important changes for 2025, which should make it a better event for younger dogs and/or handlers looking to get exposure to International handling.
◆ The Rookie courses will be designed to an A2 level, which is a better introduction to International handling than was seen in 2024 (which was designed to an A3 level).
◆ Teams that are at the Senior level may choose to compete in either Rookie or International level of ICE.
What is ICE, you ask?
◆ Euro style courses on full-sized international rings (130x100, in our case).
◆ I.C.E. winners gain an invite to the 2026 1-TDC North American Invitational as well as a bye into Rd 2 of the UKI Nationals at both the US Open & Canadian Opens.
◆ Rookie I.C.E. winners receive the Rd 2 byes AND also can choose to automatically move up their dog to the Champ UKI level.
◆ What to expect:
An Agility and a Jumping course, with the least faults and fastest time producing the winners.
Two Levels with 2 separate course designs aimed at the 2 levels - 'International' (A3) for the Champ & Senior dogs and 'Rookie' (A2) for Beginner, Novice and Senior dogs.
Exposure to European-style course running, directly from renowned international judges (Roman Lukáč in our case).
A platform for competitive growth in the international agility community.
