UKRAINE RAFFLE
May 22 2022

at the May 21-22 Morgan Hill USDAA Trial

In support of the humanitarian crisis currently on-going in Ukraine, The Bay Team's Jim Basic hosted a Raffle, 100% of whose proceeds were donated to a Ukraine pet rescue charity. All of the items are generously donated by caring bay team members. The raffle was drawn on May 22 2022 at the end of the Bay Team May USDAA trial in Morgan Hill.

THE RAFFLE WAS A HUGE SUCCESS, THANK YOU EVERYONE!

We took in a total of $5,118, of at which at least $1,165 was in the "I just want to donate" category (including $500 from sister club PASA). The funds will be sent to IFAW, a registered 501(c)3 charity:

IFAW, International Fund for Animal Welfare Helping various charities in Ukraine. Click here for Paypal link.

There are SO MANY needy and deserving pet rescue situations resulting from the war in Ukraine in addition to IFAW.

Feel free to donate to them directly yourself if you wish to donate even more!

We're leaving the pictures up of the items that were raffled off because they were SO PRETTY:

Ukraine-colored jail-bar jump, Jim Basic created, PVC and performance sign vinyl materials, flexible rubber jump cups, one 4'6" matching bar included.

Ukraine flag jump, Jim Basic created, PVC and performance sign vinyl materials, flexible rubber jump cups, one 4'6" matching bar included.

I Stand With Ukraine jump, Jim Basic created, PVC and performance sign vinyl materials, flexible rubber jump cups, one 4'6" matching bar included.

Ukraine Tunnel, 5m (16.5ft, 4" pitch), blue and yellow, product of Naylor Agility (carried by ClipandGo). Caveat: the tunnel shipment isn't due until June, however, the tunnel can be shipped directly to the winner at that time!

Ukraine Blue/Yellow Stained Glass Artwork, created and donated by Jan Olson. Approx. 14" diameter.

Ukraine Blue/Yellow Mountain Tanagers painting, created and donated by Sophie Webb.

"These three birds, feathered in black, blue and yellow are from top to bottom: Blue-winged, Lacrimose and Hooded Mountain Tanagers. Mountain tanagers are found in the Andean cloud forests of South America. Their vibrant colors reminded me of the Ukrainian flag.
"Each image is 4”x4”, acrylic gouache on gessoed board. They can be rearranged to hang horizontally rather than vertically. Overall size of frame is approximately 16” x 6”. Custom frame is stained beech."

"I don't need anything, I just want to add to the donation being sent to the Ukraine pet rescue charity. Thanks, Jim!"
